End Of An Error

You should be here by my side
But there was a side of you that you had to hide.

Luckily I found out before it was to late
I am better off without you at this rate.

It just hurts because we had so many plans
But the truth came out and I had to take a stand.

All the lies and secrets you kept from me
I had to let you go so I can be who I've always wanted to be.

You were a part of my life for way to long
But I should have known something was wrong.

In the past I tried so hard to keep you around
But you always disappeared as fast as you were found.

So here I am thinking of you
But finally seeing that what we had was never true.

Mentally and physically I will recover from this no matter what it takes
Because once again you were just a mistake.

A mistake that I had to learn the hard way
But I will continue living my life the only way I know how...day by day.
