It happens to all of us

I am become like snow on snow
Total whiteout

A wraith
Lost in
fog

I wore the Coat
Magenta
purple silk embroidery
Tiny green silken leaves

But no-one even turned
To
look

I am shrinking into
Nothingness

An invisible

Little

Old

Lady

No chance, I agree with One Trick Pony re. glint in you eye and I quite fancy the coat. My philosophy is to grow old disgracefully!

No ma'am, you are not invisible. You have a glint in your eye and a smile on your face—and whatever you carry inside comes through in rainbows.

Yes, invisibility does seem to develop as one ages.
