Loneliness by Ann Wood

Loneliness is my first friend, and she tells me good morning and good night when I go to bed.
Loneliness is my eternal companion in life, but I do not complain.
I have been living alone for almost 12 years, listening to music, reading books, or playing games on the net.
I have been writing poetry and short stories for several years now.
Sometimes loneliness kills, and other times it's better to be alone.

Hi Ann it's strange I've felt alone most of my life,
I've always felt I was the one in the room,
Nobody would want to speak to. So I can relate to this poem
Thanks for sharing. Regards Alan
