Autumn by Ann Wood
Autumn has arrived, and the trees have changed their attire.Everything is awash in shades of red, yellow, orange, and brown.
The birds are preparing for their flight to warmer southern lands.
Farm workers are gathering the harvest from the fields, orchards, and vineyards.
The days are growing shorter and the nights longer; everyone is preparing for the long, cold days of winter.
People are stocking up on winter provisions, gathering firewood, and drying herbs and hay to feed their livestock during the winter months.
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons—though I love them all, as each one holds its own unique beauty.
