Watching other who lives

As I hear the joy
laughing around me
surrounding me
As I see the freedom
in these eyes
that are paralysed
As I sense the energy
in my soul
that is split
As I feel the tears
of pain down my cheek
taking me over
As I wish this thing to be over
I pray that someday
someday it will be fine
As I sit here alone
with the emptiness
I'm left behind
As I wonder why
I silently cry alone
far away from anyone
I cry in the fear
that I doubt

A split soul...
Aren't they everywhere nowadays?

Good writing; you can feel the pain and see the tears when you read this poem.

A powerful statement with simple words...
Stop for a moment to enjoy the simple beauties of life - it dispels a lot of the frowns and tears for smiles and peace... Works pretty well for me... Especially when I miss having People around me.

So much more or you Malin. This is a very deeply honest and personal expression of your struggles. Your ability to write is the door that is opened for you. Send yourself out that door via your words. Someday you will carry them out yourself. You will let the Sun shine! YOU! kathy xxx kathy

such a vibrant thought, drawn out, to be sure, and yet, hardly overextended...i like the effort, put into the bits and pieces of emotion, creating an overall understanding...though, perhaps, a bit choppy, nevertheless, a great piece, relatable, and sincere...

while this bit of writing claims to be a bit personal, the perfect stranger can still read it, without much effort, and that in itself is a tribute to the author. though, this isnt something to shatter any regulations of poetry, still an interesting piece of writing...

Oh. This reminded me so much of one of my own texts ("Dead weight" check it out, maybe you'll see what I mean. I might just be overly spaced out today ^^).

Anyway; nice read!
