Haunting Shreds
The ravaged shreds of childhood are haunting each and every day
All versions of self assume the guise of living ghosts
Of who someone once was
They gather into themselves
Moments of light and life lived inside
Whatever this creation may be about
Becoming what and whomever one is
A thought of what was and what has vanished into air
Threads through the ravaged shreds
Of childhood haunting
Each and every day
