May Light Flower


It was another May in the world light was in flower

Turning away from night again, at last

Is there only one way to gain the eternal power

Is it today take a break from the past


We were searching for a place to be at rest

Dreaming of songs to sing the kingdom come

Hoping so much for at last to save the best

Wanting to mean something to have one


Moment of pure bliss to hold peace be still

To know your name as you are known

Wonder at this too shall cease it will

Show you the same as it was shown
