Some things are predictable and some things are not.

The severe flash flood struck Phantom Ranch and Bright Angel Creek after multiple waves of heavy rain fell on burn scars from previous wildfires, causing fatalities and heavy infrastructure damage.

AND THEN THERE IS FATE
From bits of news I heard 2 are dead and 15 hikers are missing. I heard that Phantom Ranch is no longer- gone and this happened on Saturday. I am at Kimball Point Kerr Lake where the internet signal is sometimes sporadic and news gets to my ears a little delayed. I pray for those unfortunate souls. Thankful, it didn't happen when we went into the canyon in November of 2012 Wade [my husband] and I journeyed on foot down into the bottom of the south rim of the Grand Canyon via South Kaibab Trail (approximately 6 miles round trip]. We stayed for 2 nights and two days in a cabin about 30 feet from the cold Colorado River where the flow became a shallow trickle. We stayed at "Phantom Ranch", formerly known as the "Roosevelt Ranch" and explored the trails and petraglyphs. We left on the Bright Angel Trail [12 miles round trip] and halfway up, stayed one night at the Indian Gardens campground. These events are mother nature's.... often
unpredictable. Bible prophecy predicted such events ....on a global scale.
