Welcome to my world. This is a story in photographs featuring our youngest grandson, Legend, before he was in school. He is now in first grade.
Boys Will Be Boys: Let Me Show You
Today I am featuring our youngest grandchild, Legend, a true story seenthrough the photographic lense of my camera. These are now my precious memories, taken before he entered public school a few years ago. Pure happiness, unadultered. Pure boy. Pure joy. All my grandchildren and godchildren are joys. But Legend is extra special to me. He is likely the last and the youngest, happiest one and came when my brother, a year younger than me, died from lung cancer in the end of January 2020 just as the Covid pandemic was hitting. I was his caregiver. Legend was born in May 2020. We have had the most frequent and constant interaction with him than the others. God knew I needed that. Legend's love got me through losing my dearest, closest brother. I had already lost Stephen to adenocarcinoma of unknown origin in 1990. He was only 32, the middle brother. I'm the first born only daughter. I was 5 months pregnant with our youngest, Legend's dad Robbie.
So, come on in to Clara Mae's world. This photo compilation was taken at Kimball Point Campground, Kerr Lake Reservoir [North Carolina side], USA. Melissa, our only daughter is Legend's favorite aunt and his Grampa Wade is adored like no other, he taught him how to swim. Let me show you. This child is precious and so is this place. It is like magic and I feel so connected to God and the elements here. It gives me so much peace- especially witnessing the blossoming of a pure boy. Enjoy.
The exhibition is in my newest exhibition posting "Boys will be Boys: Let Me Show You"
