Let me out

The shallow surface
eyes are blinded
blinded by the light
the lifes fight
Shadows who weep
with black presence
covers up my eyes
by the tears, it cries
from the shadows, unheard
The shadows who weep
in anger
in frustration
in yearning to be free
I miss life, I miss being me
~~
The soul inside behind the mask
whispers gently
behind the blinded surface
I want to get out from this, this place
The gentle whispers
I want to get out
The tears in the gray area
I want to get out
The screams of yearning
I want to get out
and I fall down
on my knees
I want my life back, please
Pain screams, let me out
on my knees
I shout

You have expressed so well the anquish and frustration of being in a place where there seems to be no way out. My heart was screaming for you, "Let her out!" In each writing you are sending yourself out, out into the world. You are escaping this room of shadows. I hear you; I can feel you. I hope that you know that you are not alone. xxx kathy

Arti
Rich with emotion, hidden in a mask
Holding back from screaming, tough task
Freedom snatched, it is all I ask..
Boiling emotions in heart's flask...
