i know / thats how the story goes

she stoops so low
just to get someone to praise her
the way she acts
you'd think a pack of wolves had raised her
she always looks so eager
like a dog that's been well trained
but underneath that pretty smile
lies a place that corruption's stained
she's intimate with the media
it tells her what to be
the styles and musts surround her like a cloud
so thick she cannot see.
while she sits there over-obsessing
the world is passing her by
i see her there sitting in the corner
i see her and just sigh
i know its all for nothing
i know that no one cares
no one lives to see her make up
or how she does her hair
i know she steels her sister's things
and i know her sister knows
if she had sence she'd buy things herself
but thats just how the story goes
