Oh I said this should be out on sunday . . .
But it was a pleasure to write it and here
it is . . . There is a rat race out there . . .
Sincerely Dan

There is a rat race out there

It was old fat grand rat Harley
he like to fight with alley cat
but one fine day when he wake up

Old fat grand rat Harley got an idea
if I going to start a rat race in the alley
I think I am going to phone up
my old grand cosine O'Malley

O'Malley who was well known in the alley
because he was the fastest rat after Sally
Sally who he married after many long years

Was nearly disappear, so fast she could run
and she was doing it only for fun
but she runs right in a wall it was then
O'Malley was taking control

So one fine evening they sat up the race
hundreds of rats stood there face to face
so nice on a line waiting for to run
waiting in silence for the race to begin

And there they go, but they newer came back
they are still out there running round and around
all over the world and that's why my friends
the earth is spinning around the sun . . .
it all depend on how the rats run
