This is just a poem inspired by a walk in the river valley.

River Valley Recollections

Golden Bursts...

A wondrous first: no rays of sunshine the same...

A beautiful pastel terrain;

Wandering beneath a canopy of light--

A sense of pedestrian delight!

Cerulean--enjoying an artistic point of view...

Feeling enveloped with wonder, excitement:

Never an indictment; the river a dynamic diamond...it being the fuel

For Poetic Imagination

And

Amazing Inspiration!

Recording time...

A moment so kind...

So pleasurable: not walking a fine line; but traipsing about--

There's no doubt: there's beauty in every day;

I am thankful for this snapshot of time:

A Wondrous Token Keeping My Eyes Open...

Carpe Diem...

Tempest Fugit...

Quaecumque Vera...

And To Ourselves Be true:
which is what God always knew.

hi there Alison as an angler and a reader of angling literature I am reminded of the last words of Norman Mclean's

'A river runs through it

I am haunted by waters
