Pain is the most beautiful poem...

Sweetest are the Songs...

Sweetest are the songs that are
Sung out in anguished pain.
Deepest are the thoughts that strike
On days it pours and rains.

Wisest are the moments in
Silent contemplation spent.
Anguished dirges burst forth
When the heart with pain is rent.

Highest are the mountains scaled
With courage, not with ease.
Most precious are the pearls that come
From deepest of the seas.

Most graceful are the moments
Spent in peaceful harmony.
Most ecstatic are the moments
Following deepest of the agony…

Most poignant are poems that are
Born off unshed tears.
Brightest are the stars that on
The darkest of nights appear…

What a great poem Zoya! What I use to say is the following: In my pain I 've been seeking for beauty, In my art I found beauty in pain!
I love those lines: poems that are
Born off unshed tears.
Brightest are the stars that on
The darkest of nights appear...
Once again well written Zoya!*applause*

Great rythm in this poem. And it was so cute... Like a little new star in heaven that shines brighter then all the others. Proud and innocent...

Hi, Zoya: the poem's rhythmic flow evokes a ghazal-like feeling. Excellent.

Most real are the words that pour
From a poet's rhythmic pen,
When the blinders are burnt, strongest
are the writes that come then.

This is so beautifully done Zoya. Your heart speaks truth. Some of the most beautiful poetry is written because of pain and sadness. It seems poetry birthed from anquish reaches out to so many touching them deep into their souls. xoxo kathy

pain and a poem are dependent, without pain we coulnt have found great poems of pain and agony...cause there are 2 cases where poems strike ur heart, one makes you cry from pain and agony, and one makes you smile from love and care. The one with the pain is much stronger cause every one has been through pain, but bot everyone have found the perfect one to love.....
