I wrote the first two stanzas and Liz wrote the rest of it. How we got our title - I had already written my part and shown it to Liz on yahoo messenger and later we were working on it to turn it into a co-write on the phone. When I read it back to Liz,

Gnawing Sensations of Fear [My Greatest Fear]

My greatest fear: things won't work between us...
But then, I read your words and that fear vanishes.

My greatest fear: my love for you will vanish,
But then I see how well thing work between us...

The saying that everything and all things must come to an end
Fills me with a gnawing fear,
Why should something great have to end?
If such a saying did not exist
Does that then mean that everything and all things will not come to an end?

My greatest fear: things won't work between us...
But then, I read your words and that fear vanishes.

My greatest fear: my love for you will vanish,
But then I see how well thing work between us...

The saying that everything and all things must come to an end
Fills me with a gnawing fear,
Why should something great have to end?
If such a saying did not exist
Does that then mean that everything and all things will not come to an end?

Though time erodes one season into another
Our fears will only weaken
For the actions of our words will
Belittle our fears as they strengthen our love and devotion to one another.

Whether we've met in person yet , or not - there's always a fear factor in relationships. Commit your relationship to God since you do believe He ordained it since the foundation of the Earth was laid. "...and he shall make your path straight"

Thomas P - Liz M
It cut my intro off. the rest of it goes, "When I read it back to Liz, I missread "season" for "sensation" - four times! We had a good laugh about that... Thanks, Thomas".
