Being japanese, this idea, and way of acting was instilled in me alot, i still feel like it alot, but im working past that, posting these here, seems like a way to be seen and heard heh.


Seen and not heard

I Was rasied, to be seen, and not heard,
Behave, don't act out, be a good child,
Don't ask for that, your geting alittle wild,
No, crying, your too loud,
Be alittle more polite, and alot less sound,
So, i said, Yes, sir, Yes Ma'am,
So i did what i was told, even though,
i did have someone, sticking up for my rights,
and puting up that good fight,
i still went with respect,
it helps today, but dosen't get me any back,
Children should be seen and not heard,
something i was rasied on, since before the grade of third,
Feed the birds, and be polite,
don't ask for snacks, before it's dinner, at night,
this thing has been held thightly, and, on my own,
as one of the great things i was raised on,
if you have an oppion, keep it quiet,
if you have a feeling, keep it quiet,
so, maybe only part of the problem, something since before the grade of third,
but im supposed to be seen, and not heard.
