To all you menopausal gals out there!

Sex Has Been My Friend

Sex has been
My friend,
All my life.

And now,
I'm supposed,
To forget,
To become invisible,
Unwanted in your eyes.
Too old to rock,
Too old to roll.
Past my
Screw-by date.
Dead to the world,
But not to me.

I still feel the
Urge inside,
The thrill of your eyes,
Smiling.
Your moist thighs,
Shipwrecking in my bed.
Hugged in your warmth,
Loved in your touch.

Love has been
My friend,
All my life.

Excellent write, Esti. I could feel your pain screaming in this poem.
