Severed nerve:
Just in and up/down mood,
mainly about my weight gain.
Wasn't thinking of a particular
form, but a sonnet came out.

Cinders Missing the Ball(sonnet)

If life is not so bad,
And I have much to be thankful for,
Then why do I feel so sad?
Like Cinderella missing the ball.
I have friends, family and over my head roof,
Yet my smile is an unshakable frown,
But I have more than others, that's a truth,
So I always get guilty for feeling down.
See, homeless, I am not,
And I have a lot of material things,
But when I'm dead, they don't count for a lot,
And so unpositive my heart sings.
I think that things will get better,
Surely, this negative phase can't last forever.
