Cage House Of The Little Bird.




How can the little bird sound so gay
Oh, how can it be merry,
when it lives in a house that is a cage?

If that's the only freedom it's know,
Is it's happiness secret, ignorance?

Would it be just as happy, maybe happier,
if the bars of it's home were removed?

Or would it's song be silenced into tears,
due to losing what's it's always know as safe?
