Another death rap. I'm on a roll.
I can now see my choices were not wise
I decided to choose me over all of them
Never will I let any of this happen again
The situation is really nothing big
Nothing involving a .45 or a sig
But I'm a stupid American teenager
So the smallest things seem to become major
My friends don't trust me and no one likes me
So now I must slash my wrists aggressively
I'm not emo, I'm not goth or any other social class
I'm just a kid who was always picked last
The blood will pour
The rain will fall
My family will mourn
And above it all
I'll be in heaven smiling.
I always preferred a guy to a girls
Fantasizing about behavior to make some people's noses curl
But I never openly hurt anyone I knew
And I never told anyone except those who
I was with sleeping at a specific time
But things get passed down the grapevine
So now I'm surrounded in the dark by thugs
And their ready to pop their slugs
I never saw this coming before today
When they said it was me they would slay
I'm not trying to say that I want to die
But now in heavenly peace I can lie
The blood will pour
The rain will fall
My family will mourn
And above it all
I'll be in heaven smiling.
I've been running in terror now for days
Running from those who like to keep slaves
Even in 2009 a balck man can be accused of sin
Just because he was born with slightly different skin
It's very rare to see though in these times
Which makes it easier to get away with, silent like mimes
They come for me and my body and soul
A noose is tied next to a knife and a bowl
They hang me up like a flag on a boat
Then they raise the knife to my throat
The drops then spurt into a bowl of stone
The real cause of death will never be known
It was hate that killed me today
Nothing physical or man made
The blood will pour
The rain will fall
My family will mourn
And above it all
I'll be in heaven smiling.
