Mother Of A Rougue Pirate Son[Rhyme Royal]

As I gaze upon the stars
dancing by the light of the moon,
I wonder "Is there life on Mars?"
then hope that you've FINALLY found your tune
as you left us too, too soon,
you NEVER lived life by the straight and narrow,
but lived and imitated Captain Jack Sparrow.

Oh, yes, it was the pirate life for you,
you hated to much crew talk,
no-one could EVER tell you what to do,
another notch up your belt you'd chalk
as back-chatters, the plank, you'd make them walk,
but caught and to the gallows you were sent,
my rougue, pirate son, you, I shall never forget.

Story line titles are a special treat to me, I always want to read them. Even your poem is based on fictional story line characters that most of us enjoy, so the enjoyment is already introduced by the characters alone, I love the way you started in a magically dream entrance of introducing the characters and what they mean to you. Mostly light hearted yet has hints of what life can be like in reality to me anyway.
