This is mainly [because it is inspired by '*The silent Suicidal'] for Celtic Boy but is also for
those who have been personally affected by a person's suicide.

*A MUST read poem.

For those suicide left behind.

I can not say
'I understand your pain'
when your pain I haven't been through.

I can only read your words
and tell you that 'I care'.

Suicide is hard to understand
for the one that is left behind,
It's harder if the person left behind is a friend,
and you have not 'personally' been affected
by what they are dealing with.

But even though
we have not been there ourselves
know that we deeply care,
and although we're halfway around the world,
for you -
whenever you are in need -
we will ALWAYS be there.

I can not say more than which has already been said. Except this is a beautiful poem from a beautiful heart.

Dear Liz

This is such a compassionate and deep poem and bless you for writing it. I have a friend who has recently lost someone in this way - could I have your permission to print it out for her, with your name obviously displayed as the author?

Lizzy dear, may God bless your compassionate soul!
Yes! Sometimes being there for your friends really can help!
I know people who have been saved because a friend appeared in time and was able to talk them out of commiting suicide!

(((((hugs)))))

Love,xxx, Zoya

Your words touched me so much. saying thank you seems not enough for your kindness and thoughts.

Friends help without being asked and never know just how much they have done by just being there. I have been so blessed with truly amazing friends, of which I count you among them.

We are God's offspring, He blesses us; we are His children, He shows himself strong. If an earthly parent watches over their children with unceasing love and care, how much more does our heavenly Father? As the message in your poem describes, I have lived through this before and I have found that, that which a friendship cannot do, and mere benevolence will not attempt, our God, has done for me. Thus as painful as this subject matter is, we must rise up with hope, looking for better tomorrows! Excellent poem with a most thoughtful message.

This is an excellent write. So many people say "i have no friends...nobody cares"...yet they often push their friends away. or they could go online and make friends here. They often don't realize who they've hurt...the friends that were never acknowledged
