Apart Together



On days like this, when we are far apart,
Each taking care of life's familiar role,
We keep the other's memory to heart,
A little spark of love to warm the soul.
That missing piece we need to make us whole
May be, just now, a hundred miles away;
And yet, inside our hearts, it's here to stay.
