This is a dark text, born of dark thoughts, which I hope and believe will be banished by being exposed to the light.

Feeling Fear

Yes we knew
This time would come, it's true.
But I have pushed the thoughts far ahead.

For consequences that may come fill me with dread
Of final days, when I might wish that I were dead.

Though I feel your love, constant and clear
I cannot help, my dear,
Feeling fear.

You know, if you drag your trolls into the daylight, they turn to stones

Eli The PoetBay support member heart!
Fear is normal, if we hide from it then it might become abnormal. A friend suggested to me some time ago that fear can be turned into a comedy act. In this way we can laugh at it, instead of feeling chased by it, or needing to quash it. Be careful that you do not engage in a futile attempt to banish something that has the potential to make you stronger, because fear, along with love, both have their place in the duality of things.

I'll stop ranting now, and try to practice these (personal opinions) myself.

Happy daze. ☆
