Just came out
I wanted to write
a love poem as I haven't
written one for a long time

A Dream Of Silent Screams


To stroll across a meadow green
hand in hand with you
that is my dream
laying in grass, looking at sky so blue
just the two of us in the world it seems

The whisper of your kiss
the touching of us so close
only you to achingly miss
that is what I want most


But I awake from the dream
with a silent scream
Oh why did you have to leave me so
my heart has never felt so low.
