I learnt a new word - Anointing -
& I found some of my 1998/99 poetry
It's suppose to be a love poem

~L.~

Anoint Me, Tempest Tide[Sonnet]

Tempest tide wash me away from this grief
fill the hole left where my heart once had a home
Davey Jones dash my body upon your rocky reef
let the fish strip this broken flesh from the bone
Castles built of my hopes destroyed by time
gritty sand caresses the tears from me
anoint me waves with your salty brine
undertow take this pain to the depths of the sea
Seagulls "Oh why do you have to mock?"
wheeling around me two by two
I just want this pain to STOP!
love did you deliberately come to make me blue?
Before you came I was lonely but fine
I want back the whole heart that once was mine.

Well expressed Lizzy. It is easy to question if it is all worth while when our heart is broken. Luckily we forget quickly when we find another does of the proper chemistry!!
