Inspired by Butterfly's "What my silent heart screams."
in particular the last line.

~L.~

Rose-Tinted No Longer

pieces, a million, missing
from a once whole heart,
for clothed as sheep a wolf;
deception planned from the start.

Lies, so easy, protrayed as truth
dangled like a worm on a hook,
irresistibly sugar-coated, then
cruelly this heart you took.

mistrust comes now so easierly
to one once innocently pure,
love no longer rose-tinted thanks
to this pain you make me endure.

Life......we keep living. Transformed......a new birth....anew. We grow to love and in love we suffer for the pains of mandkind seems immature for so many...except nature which is balanced as well as faithful to it's surroundings. Wonderful by all means!
