Your honey-colored eyes
Scan numbers on excel sheets
The warmth of your fingers
Lovingly caresses the scroll-pad
As you check mails on your blackberry
Your soft voice murmurs endlessly on the phone

I amuse myself
Making up love poems
About you and me
Caught-up in all this jet-set lifestyle
And smile thinking
About your reaction
When you see that I published them!

You text me "just landed" as you disembark
In another city,
And I tell myself
You are a dragonfly
You have not yet embarked
On my bed dressed with dreams!

i really like dragonflies ... i berate anybody who kills them ... they eat mosquitoes ... cool poem :-)

I like this. Especially the transition from planes landing in airports to a dragon fly landing on your bed. It's fresh and original.
