This was kind of inspired by a book I'm reading, The Perks of Being a Wallflower... This poem isn't that good, but the book is great so far!


W a l l f l o w e r

Leaning against a wall
saying you're busy being a
W a l l f l o w e r

Not dancing or moving or even talking
If you don't have fun why do you come, you
W a l l f l o w e r

Acting like you blend in with the paint
and trying to grow like a
W a l l f l o w e r

What do you do for fun?
Just lean against a wall and pretend you are a
W a l l f l o w e r

You learn secrets and observe the other kind
and yet no one knows you're there because you're a
W a l l f l o w e r

Can I join you and your friends
and try to be a
W a l l f l o w e r
