You Fill In

Do not take this product if:
I hung my hopes from a rope over all
the dreams that never quite come home
If I walked draped in fiery chains of numbed desire
Lacking the essential precedents that you require
Off into a wilderness of blue lost inside my mind, (and yours)
Because I grow weary of having strength enough to not perish
From this maelstrom of unconditional love that is our rock and cross
That river when you come to it I suppose
It would seem simpler, easier to just give in to some recidivist urge to flounder and drown
Only there is really nowhere to go under and pretend that everything that is, has not been
Because Love overcomes all, (doesn't it?)
