ignoring the fools

 

 

 

han shan sings in the moonlight

dances with the clouds

does not sit and wait for his hair to grow!

 

it is his version of

living well is the best revenge

One of the endearing (and instructive) things about him was that he was almost unfailingly happy, whatever his circumstance. Once in awhile he'd lament about something, but then "I'm content to laugh and sing."
