Ghost In The Snow

A late November evening f a l l e n
Tree branches bare q u i v e r s l o w
As though to shake themselves awake to know
From where comes such dreams of l i g h t
Composed amongst the throes of n i g h t
Some p a s s i n g s p i r i t g o e s
S t r e a m i n g l i k e t h e R i v e r s e n d
Singing towards that final bend
Mourning Beauty none may know
ghost in the snow
g h o s t i n t h e s n o w
g h o s t i n t h e s n o w
ghost in the snow
Singing towards that final bend
Streaming like the Riversend
some passing spirit goes
Composed amongst the throes of night
from where comes such dreams of light
As though to shake themselves awake to know
Tree branches bare quiver slow
A late November evening fallen
g h o s t in t h e s n o w
ghost in the snow
ghost in the snow
g h o s t i n t h e s n o w * * *
