Good Night Mr. Newton

Well, she's a tongue twisting storm, she'll come to the show tonight praying to the light machine, an old time ambassador of sweet talking, night walking games,
and I, I can remember standing by the wall while the guns fired over our heads, over our heads and we kissed as though nothing could fall, jasmine I saw you peeping, as I pushed my foot down to the floor,
femme fatales emerged from shadows to watch this creature fair, and it was cold and it rained and I felt like an actor and I thought of Ma and I wanted to get back there, c'mon, c'mon we really got a good thing going, c'mon, c'mon if you think we're gonna make it you better hang on to yourselves, breaking up is hard, but keeping dark is painful I had so many dreams, everything will be alright I will see you in the sky tonight, tonight.

What an alluring and mysterious ramble. I don't know if I "get it" but it draws me in like a drama emerging from the chaos of a drunken, nightclub moment, full of movement and color. I love "she's a tongue twisting storm" and "I felt like an actor," and "as though nothing could fall."
