For Anyone

One day the l i g h t fails to come
The way you always felt it would
One day a candle bright as any sun
Shone eternal moments through Night's ghost clothed waves,

She was not anyone
We were not anywhere
People always almost there
Until gone away
Not unlike today,

Distant thoughts in raven flocks whirl and throng
Mocks the substance of substrate the state of soul bereft
Staying here alone in this place where someone lovely left
Knowing all along the face of heaven shines inside other kingdoms
Come a while, let us pray,

Not unlike today
Until gone away
People always almost there
We are not anywhere
She was not anyone,

Shone eternal moments through Night's ghost clothed waves
One day a candle bright as any sun
The way you always felt it would
One day the . . . . . fails to come,

For anyone
Not unlike today . . .
