Brushing up Against the Sun

Giving a nudge and a light caress
the breeze brushes up against the sun
A blush of sunshine warms the air
brightening the sparkling sky
They tell old stories and laugh in bursts
like friends that have lived forever
At dusk it’s time to say goodbye
They’ll meet again at sunrise.
