An Autumn October Day – Ann Wood
It is a beautiful autumn day today.It is still warm outside, and the air smells of fallen leaves.
The trees are dressed in a colourful array of yellow, red, orange, and brown leaves.
Farmers are gathering the final harvest, and vineyard workers are picking the ripe grapes.
Birds are flying off to warmer southern lands, and wild animals are preparing for a long winter sleep.
Everything is colourful and lovely, and the weather is warm for October.
I love autumn, just as I do all the other seasons, for each one has its own beauty and charm.
