More Than Wonder

Long has the winter sunlight shone
With its silver and gray eyes
There are gains for all our losses
I wish this held true for everything

How like the stars are these white, nameless faces
I am weary of being unaware and weary of being ignorant
I sometimes wonder if it's really true
If words pierce like the tip of a sword
