Summer Masterpiece (KJC/Nepenthes Challenge)

Where I live, out in the west you see
The Summer rays are a guarantee
Waters the blessing and the reason why
Children dance when it falls from the sky
The sun puts on a show and the flowers grow
Even though the weakned plants were strong long ago
People survive the desert days
The need to survive sets their hearts ablaze
A thriving town alive in the sand
A maricle achieved by god's hand
Many may think its not a place to roam
But to my loving family, we call it home
