Remember Well (Epitaph Challenge)

Life was all but a memory
Well it was now
I felt every last breath of them
Every last thought
Every last emotion
And yet It feels like they never left

I tell myself that they are still here
In my heart filling the void
But they have passed on
To a place of love and devotion

I will always remember
The thoughts instilled in my memory
They like them will always stay
As a bookmark in the page of my heart
