It drives our effortsAnd at the same time can repel
You sometimes find it on the street
As far as I can tell
Its all part of the gamble
Its big in one town
One slip of decision
Could turn your world upside down
It's hidden in some places
That are not usually seen
It could turn some faces
If it's given at halloween
What am I?
