The Past, like winterHitting without warning
Longing to escape its pull
Falling down and staying down
Love, anger, sadness
All emotions of the past
I loved you
Added fuel for past's attack
All hits home so quickly
My longing to escape the past
Yet today and tomorrow block me
I want to dissipate, vanish without a trace
Into the dark void, a timeless state
Where I can forever dwell
On what was and what isn't
The driving force in my life
Evacuate, escape, and drop out
