I try to feel what I think the person in the poem would feel especially if it is about death or suicide that way I can write it a lot better. Also the words in the second set (the ones in apprenticies are her repeating what she has heard people say befor
Looks down at the ground
Feelings pushed to the edge
With no reasoning found.
Feeling betrayed in every way
Inside of her there is so much pain
Criticized every day
Nothing left to get or gain.
Forced to always be the best
In her parents eyes
She knows that no one would have guessed
That it was based on lies.
Unable to talk to some old friends
Cause they weren't known as cool
And it never depends
Whether she's at home or school.
Her parents, friends, and boyfriend
Although she will soon find
None of them can answer or mend
The questions in her mind.
"Does he love me?"
"Do they care?"
"Could I ever be
Something very rare?"
"Go there, Be great."
"Come on let's cut class."
"Why are you late?"
"Cut again with the glass."
Making pain for release
Doesn't work no more
She finally tried to get some peace
On the ground her blood will pour.

She stands on the ledgeLooks down at the ground
