Taking pleasure in my work? Hardly....

Tomorrow

Today I'll work, today I'll do what needs to be done.
But look, a book, it must be read, it's pages scanned and studied.
No time left, I'll do the work tomorrow.

No shirking today, I'll do my work, no cheating, just work.
I spot a mess in my room, it must be cleaned, so I get to work.
A spotless room, but no time for work, I'll do it tomorrow.

Up from bed and into work, I sit down, my book still unread.
But what does my eyes see? Filthy clothes, they must be cleaned.
The clothes are in the washing machine, time for a snack.
Hanging up the clothes I realise, I don't have any time for work, I guess I'll
do it tomorrow.

With time fast disappearing I get up to work, today nothing will stop me.
I sit down, my finges writing and my eyes reading, isn't it time for a brake?
I play a game, go see some friends, suddenly the day is over.
I look at my work, nothing done, ah well there's a day tomorrow...
