We people of honor and integrity

Are blinded by power and unable to see

Our purpose to live a life that’s sound

Yet our purpose in turn is hidden underground

We people of belief and maturity

Are deaf to purposes dawning key

We care for ourselves and curse the outcome

Funny how our ignorance seems really dumb

Why am I one person who seems to care

About life relations to the fresh air

We people of promise and glow

Have to understand and desperately know

That we the only people who can change

The outcomes of life no matter how strange
