Before you left and took my heart with you... ~Coolaaron88

Entwined Twilight

Moments before the mirror broke
You had made one final choice
To leave the land you tried to save
No savior for which to rejoice
I wanted to know what made losing you
So painful and hard to bare
The fact we made so many memories
The last outcome was so unfair
While the mirror started to break
You gave last glance and smile
My heart didn't break in two instead
It grew bigger all the while
During vanishing I saw your tears
Rolling slow down your face
The twilight remains the connection
To your time and place
So as the sun make its final bows
And sets for the moon to rise
I can see the sparkle of your face
Entwined with the twilit sky
Even thought your departure was sudden
It isn't the end of you and me
As long as the sun does fall and rise
The love that we share will be free
