hopes and dreams get sucked up dry
an endless flow of pointless tears
tears all shed for you

still I wait as months pass by
tell myself there's no more reason to try
life is not a fairy tale
and I wish the best for you

I want to let you know that I cry
and I'm sorry, so sorry that I'm not the guy
there's something I really have to say
without you, everyday
