Just some thoughts that Ive been having.

When Summers Over

When the days of summer close
You can only try to remember
The promises made in yesteryear
And the joy felt last December
You look around and see
The people that were close to you
Have changed like time wanted
And now have a different view
When the days of summer cease
You start to realize the friends
You promised to keep in touch with
Now follow a whole different trend
Hair styles change and season change
Yet the days in summer seem to last
You never forget each day spent
Yet tomorrow becomes your past
When the days of summer end
You begin to glance and wonder
If there’s anything you could have done
To keep sacred ties from going under
With this end comes a new time
Where insecurities live and die
With nothing from the past to dwell on
You take one long breath and sigh
When summers finally over
You know that the present has changed
You know that good friends disappear
The ones you loved now estranged
For all the innocence summer holds
Summer becomes a landmark
In the lives of the old and young
Summer presence always leaves a mark

Really wonderful words! I think it would make lovely lyrics to a song.
It has a lovely flow to it.
See you! :-)
