Was listening to Finnish heavy rock band, Nightwish,
and I've got no idea where this came from,
but LOVE the darkness of the last lines in the first and second stanzas.

Haunted Serenity

Serenity, let me fly away
From the worries of today.
Into a fantasy place, let me stray
For your crimes, MY blood shouldn't pay.

Mistakes like you, my share I make,
But I need more give, you just take.
In the dark, I stand at my own wake,
Your gamble lost, was MY life at stake.

Your gamble lost, was MY life at stake,
In the dark, I stand at my own wake.
Because I need more give, you just take,
Mistakes like you, my share I make.

For your crimes, MY blood shouldn't pay,
Away to fantasy let me stray.
From the worries of today,
Serenity, TAKE me away!

.....Serenity haunts me with its elusiveness.

Pretty good, maybe just a tad bit repetitive (Sp?) but on the whole it conveys. Nightwish still making new stuff? Been awhile since I heard them last.
