I wrote this earlier tonight after hearing a song by Clint Black. I'm sorry that I don't know the name of the song. I hope you like the poem.

That girl hit me with two rights then a left.
She took my truck and left me staring at a tailgate and two tail lights disappearing over the hill.
I wonder if I will ever see her again.
I know I would like to, but more important I want my truck back.
When I find her I will get my keys and leave her wondering how I disappeared so fast.
She will be thinking, is it possible for a man to be gone so fast?
I didn't know they could move so fast.
And, she will be standing looking at two tail lights and a tailgate disappearing over the hill.
She will be wondering where I went and if she will ever see my truck again.
But, the answer will be No way!

No Way!
Here I stand with my thumb out trying to get back to town wondering how I lost my truck.
