The sword is sharpened and ready
As the knives bring their razors to attention,
To free a soul's oppression,
Sometimes, Death is the only ascension.
The skin is soft, clean and supple
And the bathroom door is locked,
Preparations have gone to far to stop,
In the candlelight, Death waits to embrace that whom the world forgot.
The white tub is ready to catch the blood
And into the empty bath I lay,
As Darkness descends to fly me away,
It's Light heralds the start of a care-free new day.
